Where to Find My Latest Book Reviews

Hi everyone who happens to read my blog,
Today I'm providing a link so that you can read the two reviews I've received so far on AMAZON KINDLE UK. Click here to go straight to the page. I asked AMAZON USA whether these reviews could also be posted on AMAZON KINDLE USA but unfortunately the reply was NO. But they did thank me for letting my views be known to them. Who knows, maybe one day they'll decide to let all reviews be seen on all Amazon kindle sites.
In the mean time I'm letting people know how to access the two which have so far been done for my latest book, Nayxana Alien Woman.
Perhaps one of my readers would like to redress the balance and add another one?

How to Write a 100 Word Story With Each Word Beginning with P

Parson Paul’s Proud Parishioners’ Produce

Peter picked prize peas. Pedro plucked plump plums. Patricia packed pumpkins. Pamela provided pineapples. Phillip procured persimmons. Promised payment persuaded poor persons. Parson Paul praised Peter, Pedro, Patricia, Pamela, Phillip. Produce proved plentiful. Peas, plums, pumpkins, pineapples, persimmons provided provision.
Parson Paul predicted profit, pledged payment. Partakers promptly promised prime produce. People purchased plenty.
Parson Paul pretended poverty. Piqued Peter played politics. Proud Pedro portrayed pride. Prudish Patricia posed politely. Petite Pamela possessed poise. Prickly Phillip pouted petulantly. Potbellied Parson Paul prayed privately.
Peter, Pedro, Patricia, Pamela, Phillip, picketed Parson Paul’s parsonage, pressured Parson passionately. Provoked Parson paid. Picket prevailed.

Why I'm Offering My Latest Book Free

Hi Writers, Readers and Bloggers,

My new book, NAYXANA ALIEN WOMAN is now available as an e-book, free on Story Cartel. Your only obligation is to write a review of it and give your honest opinion on what you think of it. I welcome your input and am using Story Cartel as a way of advertising my book to readers everywhere around the world.

Of course my own opinion is biased, but if you've read the first book in the Alien Murder Mystery series (Aliens in Godzone) then you will already know something about this book. It is a follow on from that, with PI Curtis McCoy and his assistant, Janux Lennan tackling another case involving murder on the island of Muritai off the coast of New Zealand.

If you haven't yet read the first book, then you may decide to read it first, thereby making it easier to understand where the Ryxins (aliens) came from and why they came and what happened to them after they changed into Human form and infiltrated the Human race.

I'd appreciate having your opinion on what you think of my latest book - even if you hate it with a passion I'd like to hear from you. But who knows you may find yourself enjoying it and it won't have cost you anything except your time.

Nayxana Alien Woman (A New Zealand Alien Murder Mystery) Book 2

Dear reader,
my new novel is now available as an e-book on Amazon (my book) or Kobo (my book) and Goodreads.

In May it will also be available in print copies as well. If you wish to order a copy in advance please use the contact form on the right.

There are certain half-blood Ryxin women living on Earth who carry a dark and dangerous secret. On the island of Muritai they begin to die. One by one they are being brutally murdered - but by who and why? The Human police have little interest in finding the truth. They consider the alien population on Earth to be less than worthy of their help.

Nayxana Vasco is the first of these women to become a victim. Her cruel husband, Oskin, a Human government worker is found at the scene and immediately taken into custody. But is he guilty? Their son doesn’t think so. He goes to see Curtis McCoy, Ryxin private investigator and asks for his help to find his mother’s killer. And so Curtis and his Trainee Assistant, Janux embark on the difficult and dangerous task of finding the truth.

If you like a good murder mystery, then you’ll enjoy this book, which follows on from Book One – Aliens in Godzone.

Passion, the unknown and affairs of the heart are all present in a New Zealand that’s forever changing.

My New Novel

Very soon my new novel - NAYXANA ALIEN WOMAN (Bk 2 of A NZ Alien Murder Mystery) will be coming out as an e-book.
Here is a little about the story:

A half-blood alien Ryxin woman called Nayxana is found brutally murdered in her own home. Her husband, a Human, is arrested at the scene and taken to prison to await trial.
But the dead woman’s son doesn't believe his father is guilty and seeks the help of Curtis McCoy, Ryxin private investigator – to find the real killer.
Curtis, assisted by Assistant Trainee, Janux Lennan, takes on the case. Soon it becomes obvious that Nayxana isn’t the only Ryxin woman to be murdered. What is the link? Why are these particular women being targeting and by whom?
Time is short in the quest to save the husband’s life – as Human law demands the death penalty for anyone who kills their spouse. And the police have already made up their minds he is guilty. But can Curtis be sure the murdered woman’s husband is really innocent?
Curtis and Janux have plenty to contend with as they try to find the killer(s). They must follow complex threads of evidence in the struggle to solve this case.
They must also deal with their own relationship as Janux finds being in love with a Ryxin male who is also her boss isn’t easy.  Besides, aren't they supposed to refrain from being intimate? It's one of the Ryxin PI Bureau's strict rules. Well they did try but their love was at fever pitch.

Memories of an Ocean Adventure

On 3rd March 2014 my partner and I boarded the ship Radiance of the Seas for our first ocean-going trip. It left from Fremantle, Western Australia. Perth had been 37 degrees and much hotter than I’d expected as I trudged the streets looking for a book to read whilst on holiday. My Kindle, loaded with holiday reading was still sitting on my bedside table at home, accidentally forgotten. As it was I became acquainted with a new author as a result – Jo Nesbo – and had no regrets.
The description of our trip was a sixteen night circumnavigation Top End cruise. Our first port of call on 4th March was to have been Geraldton, on the west coast of Australia. But an announcement by the captain told of rough weather which was not conducive for stopping there.
So, on we went to Port Hedland on the 6th. We didn’t venture ashore that day but we were really looking forward to the next port-of-call – Benoa, Bali, Indonesia. I’d heard so much about Bali that it held a certain mystique for me.
Via tenders on the morning of 8th March we were taken from the Radiance of the Seas to the port of Benoa - another very hot day. There we boarded a bus which took us on a Balinese Arts and Crafts Shopping Tour. The one I remember most was the Batik craft centre. One of the artists drew a picture on my shorts with wax to give me a basic idea what they did. We bought a tee-shirt each from the shop there and continued on to see wood-carvers, silversmiths and goldsmiths.
I’ll always remember that day also for the tragic news about Flight MH370 which had gone missing and has never been found. We watched the news bulletins every day from then on, in our Deck 3 stateroom and hoped just like everyone else that soon the plane would be found. But this was not to happen.
Our next port-of-call was Darwin on the 11th March and there we went on a Glimpses of Darwin bus trip. Luckily the bus was nice and cool. There I saw an enormous snake draped along the branch of a tree in the botanical gardens. After the bus trip we looked around the town and then caught a taxi back to the ship. A kind taxi driver gave us a free trip as he couldn’t change our Australia $50 note, which was all we had.
On March 15 we arrived at Airlie Beach, Queensland which is near the beautiful Whitsunday Islands – a truly beautiful place. Once again we were taken by tender to the port and spent the day going to a market and generally exploring.
Brisbane, on the 17th, was catching up with relatives’ time and we had a very pleasant day.
Our last port was Sydney and it was from there we returned home, weary but happy to have seen so many beautiful things and met some nice people along the way – two of whom we have kept in touch with as they live not far from us.

(Watch for my next post for news about my upcoming soon-to-be self-published next book. This will be Book 2 of my Alien Murder Mystery series which began with Aliens in Godzone)
